Complex and challenging, heavy civil construction projects require technical expertise to stay on track. But that’s not all – it also takes teamwork between client and contractor to develop practical solutions utilizing the most effective design and construction methods.

For more than 50 years, our collaborative approach has provided a strong foundation for project success. By understanding your constructability issues and your perspectives on cost, scheduling and other factors, we can improve project efficiency and execution, while endeavoring to exceed your expectations.

Safety culture

We take our core value of “Working safely is not optional” very seriously. As evidence of our commitment toward safety, our Civil division has accumulated more than 4 million man-hours without a lost-time accident.

Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) sets the stage for success

Our Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) process brings our in-house subject matter experts and third-party experts into the design planning phase. Incorporating engineering, pre-fabrication, logistics, quality control, and construction early on allows us to provide assurance that your assumptions and budgets are realistic and achievable.

ECI gives you and our Construction Team more control over the entire project – from the conceptual stage to completion – leading to:

  • Less re-work and design, leading to lower construction costs
  • Increased project transparency
  • A more efficient construction schedule
  • Improved job site safety
  • Fewer interruptions to your ongoing operations

Foundation for success

By performing site evaluation, testing and analysis, we can plan and build a structure that will be resistant to settlement, soil movement, drainage, and other structural challenges. Our soil stabilization solutions are customized for Gulf Coast conditions where low- or zero-strength soils pose a significant challenge to conventional site preparation.

Equipped to perform

We own and maintain a large fleet of heavy machinery for rapid deployment in support of our direct hire work, including specialized drilling, cutting, and demolition equipment. In addition, our strong Gulf Coast presence and vendor relationships ensure that we have immediate access to any specialty equipment your project may require.

Reducing our carbon footprint

We are actively involved in reducing our carbon footprint through utilization of Tier 4 equipment, spill containment systems, and active monitoring of our work activities to ensure the control and proper disposal of any waste by-products produced by our activities.

Commitments kept, no excuses

We commit to doing what is right and delivering value. We know that unforeseen site conditions and change orders can have a negative impact on your overall project budget. So we rely on our experienced staff to carefully analyze all aspects of the project, anticipating and communicating areas of concern from the start. We will always be straightforward and open throughout your project and we always honor our commitments.

Expertise. What can we do for you?
