Expertise. What can we do for you?
Driven Piles
Pre-Stressed Concrete Piles
Pre-Stressed Concrete Piles
Ideal for high-load capacities, pre-stressed concrete piles provide excellent durability and resistance from corrosion, making them a preferred choice for marine and heavy industrial applications. Pre-stressed piles are fabricated in a controlled environment ensuring consistent quality and high durability, can be driven under water, no need to wait for them to cure once installed, no waste is generated during or after installation, very economical and can decrease the overall schedule of a project.
H-Piles
H-Piles
Steel H piles are produced by several mills throughout the United States and abroad. Common sizes are stocked by many suppliers and in many cases can be shipped to a jobsite for immediate use. These steel sections are driven into the ground to support heavy loads and resist lateral forces. Their structural efficiency and drivability make them well-suited for deep foundations in dense soils. HP piles can transmit a good deal of energy to the tip of the pile, which allows them to be driven through a variety of obstructions such as wood, debris and thin rock layers. Steel H piles might not be the correct pile for every application. Typically, the cost of material is more expensive than for pipe piles, precast concrete piles or for drilled concrete piles; however, depending on the project this can be offset by lower installation costs or capacity advantages.
Steel Pipe Piles
Steel Pipe Piles
Steel pipe piles are hollow cylindrical steel sections used in deep foundation applications. Pipe piles are known for their strength and rigidity, making them suitable for heavy loads and tough soil conditions. As with H Piles, steel pipe piles can transmit a good deal of energy to the tip of the pile, which allows them to be driven through a variety of obstructions such as wood, debris and thin rock layers. Versatile installation methods allow flexibility when confronting poor site conditions. These piles are driven on marine and land projects and may vary greatly in their diameter and length depending on application. Pipe pile durability makes them a long-term, budget-friendly choice.
Timber Piles
Timber Piles
A time-tested solution, timber piles are an economical option for lighter loads and temporary structures. Naturally resistant to decay (when properly treated), they’re commonly used in marine and low-impact applications. Compared to other types of piles, timber piles are relatively easy to install, handle and transport thus reducing the overall cost of installation. Timber is a naturally resilient material capable of absorbing impacts without significant damage, making timber piles suitable for environments with vibrations or minor ground movements.
Earth Retaining Structures
Sheet Piles
Sheet Piles
Sheet piles are interlocking steel sections used to form continuous barriers for earth retention and excavation support. Commonly employed in waterfront structures, cofferdams, and retaining walls, they are driven vertically into the ground to resist lateral soil and water pressures. Their modular design allows for rapid installation and removal, making them ideal for temporary or reusable applications. Sheet piles offer excellent strength, durability, and adaptability to various soil conditions, and can be installed with minimal site disruption. Bo-Mac maintains an inventory of commonly used sheets that are available for rent or purchase to avoid long lead times.

Cofferdams
Engineered cofferdam/shoring solutions for safe, deep excavation construction environments.
Cast-In-Place Piles
Auger-Cast Piles
Auger-Cast Piles
Auger-cast piles are installed by drilling into the ground with a continuous flight auger, then pumping grout or concrete through the hollow stem as the auger is withdrawn. Reinforcement is placed into the fresh grout immediately after installation. This method is ideal for areas with minimal vibration tolerance and can be used in a variety of soil conditions, particularly where driven piles are not feasible.
Helical & Restricted Access Piles
Helical Piles
Helical Piles
Helical piles are deep foundations with helical plates welded to a central shaft, designed to be screwed into the ground rather than driven. Ideal for sites with limited access or poor soil conditions, they provide reliable load-bearing capacity with minimal vibration and noise. Installation is fast, requires no curing time, and generates little to no spoil. Helical piles are suitable for both temporary and permanent foundations, and their torque-based installation allows for immediate load testing and verification. Bo-Mac has partners that specialize in project specific engineering and design.
Restricted Access Piles
Restricted Access Piles
Bo-Mac provides deep foundation options for sites with limited access or tight working conditions. We work closely with vendors and engineering teams to determine the most suitable installation method based on soil conditions and spatial constraints. Solutions may include steel pipe piles, H-piles, auger-cast-in-place piles, or helical piles, depending on the project requirements.
Deep Foundations with Uncompromised Quality
Driven by Safety, Precision Engineering, and a Commitment to Getting Projects Out of the Ground, On Budget and On Schedule.
What Can We Do for You?
Site Specific Pile Load Testing
We cut downtime—because the equipment you need isn’t incoming, it’s already here.
Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)
From concept to completion, our ECI process puts experts at the table from day one.
Field Testing & Quality Assurance
We provide on-site pile driving analysis (PDA) and static load testing to verify performance before a structure is built. This ensures each pile meets design capacity and soil conditions are accounted for. Our ability to deliver these services in-house sets us apart and helps clients avoid costly delays and change orders.
Full-Scope Pile Installation
Bo-Mac offers a wide range of land-based piling solutions, including driven pile, augered cast-in-place, drilled shafts, and sheet piling. We self-perform the entire installation process using our own crews and equipment—eliminating the need for subcontractors and allowing us to maintain greater control over quality, scheduling, and safety.
Responsible, sustainable performance
Bo-Mac is committed to being good stewards of everything entrusted to us and that includes our environment:
- We use only environmental bio-degradable vegetable hydraulic oils
- Double containment for all fuel tanks
- Containment systems on all barge storage areas
- Noise dampening and vibration monitoring can be incorporated upon request
Piling
A successful project requires a proper foundation. And when deep foundations are required, Bo-Mac has the experience and expertise necessary to ensure an efficient and carefully monitored installation completed in a safe and timely fashion.
What Can We Do for You?
Early Contractor Involvement for the Best Decisions
We welcome the opportunity to work with you in the preliminary stages of your project’s design. Rather than promote a specific pile type, our staff of professional engineers and project managers will work closely with your foundation and geotechnical engineers to evaluate and determine which type of pile is best for your site’s soil conditions.
Site-Specific Pile Load Testing Program
Bo-Mac recommends employing a pile load testing program early in the design process. Our experts can work with your design team to develop a site-specific program to help verify soil conditions and optimize pile capacities.
Realistic Logistics and Scheduling
We can help your construction team with the development of logistics for the flow of work across the site. With our extensive history of working in the varied soil conditions encountered along the Gulf Coast, we can also provide reliable installation durations for the development of a realistic project schedule.
